Emirates ID (The Delivery)

On 15 Feb 2009, somebody from Emirates ID called me enquiring about my location.
I gave details of my location and it was easy as the person knows the landmark.
I was also informed that the original copy of the EIDA receipt is required.
I was told that the ID will be delivered "bukhra".

On 16 Feb 2009, I was out of the office.
I just left behind an authorization letter and a copy of the receipt.
Our secretary told me that it was delivered as scheduled.
The authorization letter was not required.
The copy of receipt was accepted and she just signed the receiving copy.

So that’s it, I now have my Emirates ID, legally staying in this country…
