DESCRIPTION: We visited this place on our Quebec 2023 bus tour from shorttrips.ca. Upon arrival, we were greeted by their friendly staff and was guided to the maple syrup production room where we were presented the manufacturing process. Afterwards, we were treated with live music while our food is being cooked. Our musician was Danny Armstrong, an excellent violin player. It was like Scottish line dancing music that were played, so lively some can’t help but dance. This place was so clean when we visited it. Right outside the maple production room is a pavilion with tables. The tables were empty as we go to the restaurant, I wondered what it was for. While waiting for food, I took photos for this tour. We were served soup, beans, ham, bacon, coffee, tea and of course – maple syrup. Seen a couple added the maple syrup to their water. I tried it too and found out it was great drink – Cheers! :) After our meal, shopping time for most. They had lots of good stuff in their in-house souvenir shop. Just when I thought we were done, the best treat was served – the maple candies on stick! That was the first time I’ve tasted it, sure was glad we were allowed more than 1 serving :) Was told to eat it like candies but I tried to bite off chunks. Not a good idea as it was so elastic a thread (like spider web) stretches as I took out the stick – not good for your hair. So I just enjoyed it like lollipop.
