DESCRIPTION:
The Chinguacousy Park perimeter footpath for walking, jogging, running, biking, scooting, etc… Taken on a beautiful morning of spring 2023, during the annual fund raising walkathon of a religious organization. You’ll see the public outdoor gym facilities along the path in this virtual tour. Anybody can use the outdoor gym facilities on a “first come first serve” basis. You’ll see some of those gym stations flooded as it rained earlier. Eventually it gets dried up come summer. Would be better if properly drained, in the future maybe. The total distance of the perimeter is approximately 2.5 km, around a 30 minutes leisurely walk.

Link to virtual tour of the playground in the middle of the Park, right beside the Splash Pad and other fun stuff. See the place where kids can have fun activities like sliding, climbing, playing musical instruments, merry-go-round, etc… The slides here are pretty high at like up to 3 stories up; there’s also a winding slides and right-across the path are the swings and the zipline. So much fun activities here for active kids. Enjoy!
Boat Pavillion

Link to virtual tour of the Chinguacousy Park Boat Pavillion facilities. The swan shaped paddle boats are available here for rent during summer. There’s also a food court during warmer weather; there’s public washroom here too. Then right across the path is a smaller playground where kids would surely enjoy.

Clock Circle

Link to virtual tour of the Clock Circle by the Queen Street side of the park. This facility is in the area where the Greenhouse and the Wedding Chapel are located. There are plenty of flowers and other plants in this area of the park during warmer weather; also have plenty of benches for everyone to just sit down and relax. As well there’s an antique house in this area which I believe is an attraction but is also being used for park maintenance.
Greenhouse

Link to virtual tour of the Chinguacousy Park Greenhouse. Camera is allowed inside the greenhouse only if you have permit. My virtual tour here was taken only for the exteriors. Hopefully I can get that permit in the future and take photos and videos of its inside where there are lots of exotic plants and flowers.
Mini-Train

Link to virtual tour of the Chinguacousy Park Mini-Train. Fun ride during warmer weather. Their mini-train station is close to the fast food area where the mini-golf and the skating trail are also nearby. The mini-train can accommodate both adults and kids, a safer setup so kids can be supervised. It goes around it’s short route within the park.
Mt Chinguacousy

Link to virtual tour of the Chinguacousy Park Mt Chinguacousy. Fun winter area where visitors can play skiing, snowboarding, tubing, etc… There’s a rubber belt conveyor that can bring us up the mountain where we can then slide down for a fun ride. On a snowy season, natural snow are used. If there are not enough snow but the temperature is freezing, then there are gadgets that can generate snow.
Pond

Link to virtual tour of the Chinguacousy Park Pond. Walk around the pond where you can see most of the ponds and the available benches for a relaxing view of the pond with plenty of ducts and their flying, landing, swimming and other activities like their “bottoms-up :)”; fun sight to watch… What’s “bottom’s up”? That’d be for you to find out by visiting the place and watching them do their stuff. Enjoy!
Skate Park

Link to virtual tour of the Chinguacousy Park Skate Park. Lots of good riders here using their bikes, scooters, roller blades, skates, skateboards, etc… There are lots of obstacles to play with is this facility.
Skate Trail

Link to virtual tour of the Chinguacousy Park Skate Trail. This skating facility converts into a splash pad during warmer weather. During winter, there are times where marshmallows are given for free for you to roast and eat in the bonfire they create.
Splash Pad

Link to virtual tour of the Chinguacousy Park Splash Pad. There are water fountains, showers, waterfalls from big pipe and huge faucet. So much fun with kids during warm weather. There’s rinsing showers too once done splashing around. Maybe someday we can join them? 😂 Have fun!

NOTES:
The biggest virtual tour I’ve created to-date at 417 photos.
Good thing TourBuilder have “Islands” feature enabling grouping of photos.
That was very helpful in completing this project.
Also for now having the most “Related Links”, didn’t notice earlier had done these much virtual tours in the park. Had fun doing them all and there are few more spots I could add maybe. No more time creating a blogpage for each though, direct link to Google Maps should be fine…
Got place(s) you want to be in Google Maps or in your website?
Please [Leave a Reply] below, hopefully we can together work for their virtual tour(s).
Thanks for viewing and I would appreciate your feedback.
Enjoy!
